Li – I like your insight into this one. I also have to agree with Beth here too. Southwest’s issue is definitely inconsistency. Before this whole Kevin Smith PR nightmare started, I had a friend who was forced in front of other passengers to prove she could fit into a seat before she could select a seat. She fit and she was humiliated.

I totally understand the desire to keep people in the next seat over comfortable; however, there needs to be a better standard in place – and one that doesn’t humiliate customers.

By the way Li, as a former Jersey girl myself (and schoolmate of Kevin Smith) I need to let you know that the comic book store is in “Red Bank, NJ” not “Riverbank.”

Also, Jersey Girl was worth the watch … of course I am biased because my hometown was the setting.
